Summer Tech Camp

Join our summer tech camp in Chicago June 19-22nd

Teen Innovators Summer Camp! For 5-9th graders!

Location: The Chicago Connectory 222 West Merchandise Mart Plaze, Suite 570, Chicago, IL easy drop off on street level OR access from the CTA Merchandise Mart Stop.

Hours: 10 am to 2 pm 

Cost: $275 (scholarships available)

What to Expect: Camp will increase innovative thinking through… Activities, Challenges, Problem Solving, and Collaboration Boost Leadership and Life Skills Tours of Chicago Technology Companies Speakers from Industry Leaders and more…

The camp will be held at the Merchandise Mart in Downtown Chicago. Our “home base” will be the Chicago Connectory, a tech incubation space sponsored by Bosch. We will also be taking walking tours of other tech companies around the Merchandise Mart.

We will have a drop-off and pick-up location in the North Center area near the Brown Line CTA. We will then as a group travel to the Merchandise Mart via the CTA Brown Line. We will have a drop-off and pick-up location in the North Center area near the Brown Line CTA. We will then as a group travel to the Merchandise Mart via the CTA Brown Line. 

Participants will boost their innovative thinking skills with a daily theme that all activities will center around.  Themes will include communication, creativity, collaboration, strategy, etc.  Activities will include challenges, company and building tours, speakers, and more!  Students will learn how to network and make new friends.

Our team is comprised of certified educators along with our certified peer mentors. All staff are background checked.

Participants will be asked to bring their own lunches. We will have access to refrigerators at the Connectory to keep lunches cold.

Yes, we will require a $100 deposit at registration. The final $175 will be due May  30.

Online after-school clubs.

Weekly group sessions. Facilitated by older teens. Connect with peers and share passions

Thursdays @ 5:00 pm Central

Gaming Club

Students will develop problem-solving and communication skills, discuss big issues like climate change all while playing Minecraft over Discord!

Thursdays @ 6:00pm Central

Chess Club

A club where students can discuss strategy and play chess with peers and older teen mentors. Book a session to meet Charlie, a Junior in High School and Clark, a freshman in College.

Thursdays @ 3:00 pm CT Starting August 10th

High School Prep

Hone your Executive Functioning Skills as you think to transition to High School! Our mentors will guide students through all they need to know to conquer their freshman year! Topics include self-advocacy, setting goals, joining activities, balancing time, and making friends!
