We at Teen Innovators are incredibly excited about our third summer camp! We know the participants will have fun, make incredible memories, form new friendships, and enhance their innovative thinking skills! Our summer camp will take place at the amazing Chicago Connectory in the Merchandise Mart in downtown Chicago! We thought we would take a minute to share more about our exciting camp!
Our camp is open to all rising 5th through 9th graders. Our trained older peer mentors will be leading and guiding the campers through fun, innovative, and engaging activities.
A daily innovative thinking skill theme will lead the activities and challenges each day. Our camp is filled with innovative thinking challenges. Campers will work collaboratively to solve challenges. They will think creatively to complete puzzles. They will strategize together to solve problems and communicate with each other their ideas and plans. Through all of this, they will enhance their curiosity for learning.
Along with engaging and challenging activities, our campers will hear from entrepreneurial experts in the Chicago startup community who will share insights, experiences, and words of wisdom to the campers. Campers will also get to tour nearby startup spaces such as 1871, Wintrust, Whitney Architectual and Design Firm, Matter, and more!
We will be the week of June 19-22nd. Each day will run from 10am-2pm. We will also be offering extended care for those families that need it.
The Chicago Connectory is a community of entrepreneurs, startups, corporate innovators and creative minds—together driving technology innovation for Chicago, the Midwest and beyond. They are excited to share their space with our participants to immerse themselves in the technology startup community.
Are you concerned that your students may regress this summer? Are they as happy and motivated as you would like? Teen Innovators can enhance their confidence and emotional well-being. Not only will our campers enhance their innovative thinking skills but they will create important and lasting friendships with other campers, our mentors and staff.
